R1200GS Adventure

You're into long, extreme tours on bumpy roads and tracks or through the wilderness? Whether asphalt, off-road, stone or sand: the new BMW R 1200 GS Adventure has the right answers to every challenge with its light, agile handling. A machine for all those who want to go to their limits - and grow beyond them. In short: a machine for riders who engage in true adventure and want to express their supremacy as well as enjoying riding pleasure to the full at the same time.

Overcome every type of terrain with an enduro bike whose practical equipment features leave nothing to be desired. Two standard riding modes - Rain and Road - can be selected at the press of a button, offering two completely different, finely harmonised ride responses: two motorcycles in one, so to speak. Other modes are also available as optional extras. The shift assistant Pro enables the rider to shift up and down without using the clutch or throttle valve. The reduced shift time means the rear wheel retains even better directional stability.

A tank volume of 30 litres with optimised fuel consumption really is unstoppable on long trips - without unwanted breaks. The standard range of equipment has been improved too, now providing the rider with an on-board computer. This enables perfect navigation and gives the rider useful information such as fuel level, speed and fuel consumption.
The travel enduro is rounded off with a newly integrated compartment above the fuel tank where you can keep small items with easy reach. Keyless Ride offers even greater convenience: this system means a mechanical key is no longer needed and you have your hands free in every situation.

Yet the R 1200 GS Adventure remains highly dynamic, too, with its legendary boxer torque of 125 Nm and an output of 125 bhp delivered by the new water-cooled 2-cylinder 4-stroke engine.

Other highly impressive features of the R 1200 GS Adventure are its unique design, further improved seating comfort, wind and weather protection and a powerful presence. It is available in three paint finishes: Olive non-metallic matt, Racing Blue metallic matt and Alpine White 3.

The R 1200 GS Adventure. Makes an impression. Wherever it goes.
